nearly 5,000 years ago, in the white mountains of present day california, a great basin bristlecone pine began to sprout. today, that tree is still growing and is known as methuselah, the oldest living organism on earth.
this is my love letter to two of my favorite high-altitude trees- the great basin bristlecone pine and the jeffrey pine. combining the former’s intoxicating citrus and resinous notes with the latter’s toasted vanilla and butterscotch scented bark.
this is the ultimate pine candle.
